A Fun, Easy Way to Show Teens the "Big Picture" of the Bible

Venture: The Bible Timeline for High School introduces teenagers to the “big picture” of salvation history in a way that is simple to understand and easy to teach. It uses the revolutionary Great Adventure Bible Timeline® Learning System that hundreds of thousands of Catholic adults have used to learn the Bible. This eight-lesson program will get teens to open their Bibles and learn the story of salvation history—from Genesis to Revelation—with a focus on God’s covenants and biblical characters. Once teens understand the Bible, their faith will become a relevant and indispensable part of their lives.

The Venture Student Workbook and The Bible Timeline Chart for Teens received a nihil obstat and imprimatur from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in March 2022 and February 2022, respectively. The Venture Leader’s Guide has also been submitted for imprimatur and is currently under review.

Components of this Study Program

The DVD set provides eight lessons (approximately 25–30 minutes each) featuring some of the top youth presenters in the country such as Mark Hart, Father Josh Johnson, Mari Pablo, Chika Anyanwu, Paul Kim, Taylor Tripodi, Andrew Swafford, and Bob Rice.
The Student Workbook includes prayers, conversation prompts, topic dive-ins, activity guides, Biblical character stories and sidebars, reflection questions, food for thoughts, and calls to action to live out the teachings they’ll learn in the program. Each workbook comes with Online Course Access as well, so students have access to their materials no matter where they are.
The Leader’s Guide includes the entire content of the Student Workbook plus a program overview, scheduling and planning resources, leader’s notes, and session overviews and objectives.
The Online Course provides students with access to the program with online videos and a digital workbook, as well as quizzes, reflection questions, and more.
