I found this book amazing!!! The content is fabulously deep and gets to the heart of some big questions that teenagers need to contemplate. Same with the videos!
The reason I gave it only four out of five is because the lessons seem to go by to quickly. There's a lot of info packed into each one and I feel that not enough time is used in actually absorbing the material. So, not enough time to really think and change one's prayer life or outlook on God. But, other than that fantastic, insightful, and helpful for teens!!!

I was asked to run the HS Bible in a year and was quite worried I wasn’t prepared. Mark Hart and the producers of this program put together an amazing summary of the major themes of the Bible. The program was informative and engaging. Perfect for the students in my class!

I choose this program after seeing it at "BIY Retreat" last year. My granddaughter has been homeschooled for the past 3 years. A purchased home school program required Bible (which I am all for), but I did not care for the home schools bible program, I wanted something Catholic. I have been purchasing bible books (used for lessons) from Ascension, the past 5 years, for us to read and discuss. We had exhausted Ascencion's library (for children). We needed something more detailed and appropriate for a teenager; this program hit the mark! It has put us in the bible, organized biblical history, and reinforced Catholic traditions I wanted her to learn. I could go on & on. Highly, highly recommend this program for churches Catechism programs or home study with any child facing late middle school to high school. She loves her Bible Class, especially the videos. Thank you Ascension for helping us keep our children in the faith.

We have two teens and watched the Venture videos as a family during this past Advent. Venture is a fantastic way to introduce teens to the Great Adventure timeline, give them an overview of salvation history, and discuss some of the main points of the Bible with them. My husband and I previously listened to the Bible in a Year podcast, and we were able to share some of the insights from that podcast with our teens as we had family discussions about the Venture videos. Our teens are now interested in learning more and listening to the Bible in a Year podcast. Thank you for the Venture program!
