I finally completed the Bible in a Year!
I originally started it 3 years ago and only got through 45 days. After I had missed a few days I gave up. Then last year, after going on a Lenten Retreat in February, I decided to start again the BIAY. I decided not to be so rigid. That if I missed a day I would eventually catch up.
Fr. Mike is funny, down to earth and relatable. I liked the presentation and recap explaining at the end of each day BIAY. He's encouraging with "I can't wait to see you tomorrow" ...

I'm planning on starting the Catechism in a Year.
I got to see and hear Fr. Mike speak on December 9, 2024 at Newark NJ Performing Arts Center. It was a talk regarding the start of "Advent" and our journey to Christmas day. A great talk.

I love both Catechism in a Year and Bible in a Year with Father Mike. I started with the Catechism because I thought a good basic understanding would be a fine place to start. I am now on my second time around listening and I find something new everyday. I completed Bible in Year and am now on my second time listening to the Bible also and again - there is something new everyday. Father Mike explains everything so beautifully. I'm Praying for you -- please Pray for me.

Father Mike has been extremely helpful in breaking down complex theology into bite size chunks that my wife and I can work through as we continue our 55 year old faith journey converting to Catholicism the past 6 months. His approach is comforting and affable while still speaking hard and necessary truths. He somehow pulls this off while exhibiting deep heartfelt empathy and compassion. God bless Father Mike.
