Refund policy
Only items in original packaging and new, unmarked, and sellable condition can be returned. Pre-authorized materials may be returned within (30) days of receipt for a refund.
Please start your return at returns.ascensionpress.com. If you are a B2B customer and are returning multiple packages in an order, please use the portal to set up a return for each package; you will receive a label for each.
Timing: Once your return is processed by our fulfillment center, your refund will be issued. Returns are typically processed within 24 hours, and refunds return to your original card within 3–5 business days.
Exchanges & Store Credit: We do not offer exchanges or store credit at this time. Refunds are issued to your original form of payment only.
Exclusions: The purchase price of clothing, digital content (e.g. MP3s, downloads, etc.), seasonal programs (Such as Lenten Companions or Advent Reflections), and art prints (which are printed on demand) will not be refunded.
Customers using the returns portal will receive a return label; a fee of $6 (plus $1 per additional item) will be deducted from your refund to cover this cost. Ascension reserves the right to inspect returned items and adjust your refund if the item's condition does not match the stated return reason.
Pre-Order Cancellations: Cancellations must be handled manually by a customer support representative. In-stock items have a narrow window in which cancellation is possible; pre-orders can be canceled any time before fulfillment begins.
App and Alto Subscriptions: If you purchased a subscription through our mobile app, refunds are subject to Apple/Google policy and cannot be issued by us directly. Please cancel at least 24 hours before renewal, or request a refund from Apple/Google within a few days of being charged. If you purchased a subscription through our web app, please contact customer support—we can help cancel or refund you directly.
For orders the portal can't process, please contact an Ascension customer support representative at 1-800-376-0520 or returns@ascensionpress.com to receive authorization before returning any items.
Please have ready when you call, or include in your email the following information:
- The Order Number (found on your packing slip or in your Order Confirmation Email)
- The items you are looking to return, as well as the quantity of each item.
