Welcome to Zelie and Lou, a Catholic clothing brand founded by a college student in 2019. Frustrated with the lack of trendy Catholic apparel, she decided to take matters into her own hands and create a brand that young Catholics could be proud to wear. Starting small with stickers, Zelie and Lou quickly grew into a full-fledged clothing brand with a mission to provide high-quality and meaningful clothing for Catholics. Our designs are inspired by Scripture, the lives of the saints, and the rich traditions of the Church.

Named after the parents of Saint Therese of Lisieux, Zelie and Lou embodies the spirit of "littleness" that Saint Therese so famously espoused, having begun in a tiny dorm room. We are excited to see Zelie and Lou continue to grow and flourish under Ascension. Our goal remains the same: to provide high quality and meaningful clothing for Catholics who want to live out their faith in every aspect of their lives.

What is the relationship between Ascension and Zelie & Lou?

In March 2023, Ascension acquired the Zelie and Lou brand from its founder, Emma Boback. At Ascension, we have and will always value our Catholic creators who evangelize the Faith through their God-given talents. While Ascension now handles the development and production of the Zelie and Lou collections and merchandise, Emma continues to be involved in the research and development process.

How do I care for my Zelie and Lou apparel?

To ensure the longevity of your garments, we recommend following the care instructions provided with each product. In general, machine wash cold and tumble dry low for optimal results.

Is extended sizing available?

As of our Autumn/Winter 2023 collection, we are delighted to inform you that we have expanded our size range to 2XL. We strive towards finding the perfect fit for everyone as we grow. We are currently working on expanding our size ranges for future collections.

Do you ship internationally?

As of now, we do not offer international shipping for our customers. However, stay tuned as we grow!

What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We offer a replacement for the originally purchased item if your package gets lost during transit. If an item is not a right fit, you may submit a return request by emailing or calling 800-376-0520 and our Customer Support team can assist you on how to place a new order with the correct size. Returns will only be accepted within 30 days from the day of confirmed delivery.

Will you restock a style?

We usually do not restock a style since we do want to focus on developing and launching new designs for everyone. However, we launch new collections twice a year (Summer/Spring & Autumn/Winter). We highly suggest that once your favorite design is in stock, grab it while you can!
