This book was wonderful and through these meditations I fell in love with St Joseph. I wish I had has this book a long time ago so as to have had a longer time to grow in relationship with our spiritual father. St Joseph, pray for us!
Last year I did the guide with Mary, so I was excited to do this one on St. Joseph (especially since I’ve developed a greater bond with him in the past year). After a tumultuous year not only in the world but personally, it felt comforting every night to open and really immerse myself into this book.
The Bible readings are short but concise, the reflection contemplative, and I appreciate the journaling aspect a lot. The guided visualizations are breathtaking and really helped to put my mindset into the Christmas story like I haven’t before.
AND the fact Pope Francis declared this as the year of Saint Joseph?! No coincidence there. I’m so excited for next Advent to do the guide with the Holy Family. These books have become a highlight of my Advent; a new tradition I look forward to continuing for years to come.
I absolutely loved this advent book, I loved being able to see advent through Joseph's eyes in a way I never thought of. Truly beautiful and the weekly videos that accompanied really helped to pray through visualization.
Very thoughtful and a great way to pray with the Psalms. However, I agree that it does have a lot of typos and grammatical errors. I'm actually surprised. It doesn't take away from the beautiful message, but is a little distracting.
So far, I love this book. It does have many thought provoking meditations, and I love visiting the Psalms in the eyes of Joseph. However, as another reader stated, there are many grammatical errors and typos. I'm a little surprised that it got published this way. It doesn't take away from the message that God wants us to hear, just a little distracting.
