Rejoice! An Advent Pilgrimage into the Heart of Scripture, Year C
Entrust your heart to the Lord this Advent.
It can feel daunting to entrust your whole being to the Lord, especially during difficult times. Yet, in these moments of struggle, you can learn to recognize the warmth of his presence. God doesn’t want you to be afraid to be with him in your weakness, rather he wants to dwell in your heart.
This Advent, join Fr. Mark Toups as he invites you to embody the trust Mary and Joseph lived out as they trusted God, one step at a time. Through daily reflections on the Sunday Mass readings and guided meditation videos, Rejoice! An Advent Pilgrimage into the Heart of Scripture will help you build a daily, sustainable habit of prayer that you can carry with you into the new year.
Following the same award-winning format that hundreds of thousands of Catholics have enjoyed through past Lent and Advent reflections, the Rejoice! journal will guide you inward to experience all that God has in store for you.
Bring your fears, doubts, challenges, and hopes on your pilgrimage to the Nativity. When you meet Baby Jesus in the manger, you will be blessed with greater joy and peace—and a restful heart!

Reaching the Root
"This Advent, I walked deeper and deeper into my heart, my desires, my sin, and above all, my identity as a child of God. I questioned myself on how completely I surrender unto God's timing, promises, and outcomes, and understanding I didn't trust him completely. Now I am aware of some things that make me grasp control in my life; and this walk through Rejoice taught me how to surrender everything to God. I desire to let silence be a constant part of my prayer from now on."
—Chuy A.
