Danielle discusses working from home: How to Make Working From Home Work for You
6 Tips for Working from Home
1. Have a work space
This might be a home office or a corner of your dining room, but having a dedicated space for work helps keep you organized.
2. Put your phone away
Whether you are focused on work projects or your home and family, putting you phone away will eliminate distractions.
3. Tame your email
Only check emails during certain times of the day and make sure you use all of your communication platforms as tools that help serve you, not the other way around.
4. Write down your to-do’s
A simple list can keep you on track and relieve the stresses of always trying to remember every little thing.
5. Rethink meals
If you are the primary meal person, you may need to simplify your plan or cut some corners. There are lots of modern options for grocery shopping, meal planning, and meal prep, so look into your options.
6. Ask for help
Why are we so bad at this? Ask for the help and support you need from your husband, kids, or friends, or hire the help you need to get everything done.
Listener Feedback
At the end of today’s show, Danielle shares a question from listener Lindsey who shares a genius idea for handling little kids at Mass.
