Here’s Why You Should Push Yourself
Share
This week, we are talking about important reasons why you should consider stepping outside your comfort zone, challenging yourself, and trying something new and scary. When I first began this podcast, I was terrified to try something new, and yet I have learned and grown so much through this experience and I am so glad I pushed myself.
“The world offers you comfort. But you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness”― Pope Benedict XVI

I share this quote from Pope Benedict: “The world offers you comfort, but you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness.” The “greatness” you were made for is God, and your heart needs to stretch and grow to receive him.
Here are some ways that I think you will always benefit from pushing yourself:
1) You become a stronger person.
2) You learn something new.
3) You meet new people.
4) It helps you adapt to change (which is inevitable).
5) You find out about your untapped potential.
Song of the Week: This week’s song is Pictures on a Wall by Ira Wolf. It’s so sweet and homey! What are you listening to these days?
