The Word of the Lord (Verbum Domini)

The Word of the Lord (Verbum Domini) addresses the twelfth ordinary general assembly of the synod of bishops meeting on the Word of God in the life and mission of the Church. In this exhortation, Pope Benedict XVI explores the Catholic understanding of the Bible, and explores the relationship we have with the Word of God, especially as revealed in Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh.
