I'm not someone who journals, but having just been Baptized Catholic, I find myself wanting and needing a place to write all the beautiful words I am receiving from Our Lord. I couldn't be more pleased with the book! I intend to leave it to my daughter and when I'm older my hope is that she will read it back to me, One Day. Thank you, C~
Have used others, but they didn’t quite work out. They became a miscellaneous journal. This one gives you a sense of direction, but leaves you to add your personal thoughts, experiences and insights. I finally have one that works and is well made. It suits its purpose.
This is a wonderful idea! So glad I got my copy.
The binding and box are excellent quality in design and construction. They found out my book-is love of bookmark ribbons and it is a super convenient way to keep track of myself.
The only thing I can critique is wishing that there was a more clear way or perhaps more examples of how to use the table of contents. Do you make a list of insights by numbers/ letters and give what selection of those are on each page? Or do you only use one insight per page? Or...?
Overall, this is a gem I look forward to filling up through the years! And maybe when I fill one up I'll just go ahead and fill up another ;)
I have (had) a special folder I keep my Catholic articles, prayers, psalms, songs, prayer cards and notes I write to myself to help me remember special things. Now I can take my folder out, finish my thoughts and pray at the same time I'm entering all my special "notes etc." into my Insight Journal.
I love it and want to thank Jeff Cavins for developing such a wonderful and beautiful book to keep my thoughts, feelings and love for our Lord Jesus and my Catholic faith. Praying our six grown children will someday realize the gift we have in our Catholic faith.
Blessings to all at Ascension Press

I love this journal! I’d been jotting quotes on the inside cover of a book that I had on my coffee table. Now I have an organized place to jot meaningful quotes, insights after prayer, prayer requests, etc. I can only quote Father Mike - “Man oh man - What a gift!”
