This is what I would call a "knock-off" Yeti tumbler. It's pretty good for chilled water or non-sugary drinks. It's also good if you use it only infrequently. But if you use a tumbler every day, it's a real bummer that this one cannot go in the dishwasher. I knew that before I bought it, of course. "Hand wash" is in the description. Still, I find myself not using it as often as I use my Yetis because of the hand washing.
The other thing that keeps this from being less-than-great is the lid, which is not shown in the description. The attached plastic slider makes it really difficult to wash and dry underneath the slider. Anything sugary or sticky that gets under there is a problem. THE GOOD NEWS is that Yeti mag-slider lids DO fit this tumbler, so if you're willing to shell out another $9 for a Yeti mag-slider, or if you just have an extra around the house, you can pop that lid on this tumbler and it works great.
I really wish Ascension had just put the Great Adventure branding on a real Yeti and marked it up by another $10. That would have made it a great tumbler!
