Ascension Press does it again!!

I have participated in The Bible In a Year program for many years (just started my fifth year). I love learning about God’s plan for us since the beginning of time. Learning our story through God’s written word brings the Catholic faith into focus for me in a way I’ve never experienced before.

I have since discovered Ascension Press’ GPS series for teaching children the Catholic faith. I now use that program and the materials provided by Ascension press to walk through the Bible using the same format as the Bible in a year series, structured, appropriately by age group for my Sacramental preparation class (1st reconciliation and 1st Communion). The kids love the materials!

Looking at the individual study plans in the Ascension app, where I have joined Ascension for a year, I found study plans for middle school kids also based on the Bible in a year and the Bible timeline. The videos are put together so well and reference the Bible pausing periodically so the kids can read certain chapters and verses of the Bible as they view the videos. It definitely will keep the attention of middle school aged students. I am excited to share this with the other teachers and our Associate Director of Youth and Family Evangelization!
