Encounter: The Bible Timeline for Middle School

Encounter is a Catholic Bible study designed specifically for grades 6 to 8. Using the color-coded Bible Timeline Learning System, each session of Encounter reveals the story of our faith and God’s plan for our lives. This captivating program guides students toward a powerful encounter with God.

• The DVD Set presents Mark Hart and his compelling overview and explanation of the entire biblical story. Each lesson offers two segments, the first teaching the Bible timeline period of the lesson (10-13 minutes), and the second covering a Bible character from that period (5 minutes). Each lesson is designed to accompany the lessons in the Encounter Student Workbook and Leader’s Guide.
• The Leader’s Guide contains everything needed to facilitate a study group and is an invaluable resource for each group leader or facilitator. It includes the contents of the Encounter Student Workbook with detailed leader’s notes, lesson steps to follow, discussion questions, and additional activities.
