Love only invites. Love only proposes, it never imposes. Authentic love never forces. God will never make us choose him. He gives us the free choice to say yes today and yes tomorrow.

SHOWNOTES
Glory Story (2:45)
Fr. Josh invites you to reflect on this question: “Who are you?” You are the body of Jesus. Go and manifest that to the world!
Listener Feedback (9:15)
Can We Lose Our Salvation? (14:04)
Can we lose our salvation? I know some other denominations teach you cannot lose it, but what do we as Catholics believe? -Andrea
Quitting Smoking (20:05)
How does one quit smoking for good? What are some good strategies for coping with withdrawal? Are there any verses you could recommend for inspiration? -Maria
Working Moms (27:38)
I’m a mom to a toddler and I teach at a university. Lots of days (all the days?), I feel like maybe my callings are in conflict—like it’s hard to figure out how such demanding things could go together and there still be any of me left at the end of the day. I’m grateful that my primary vocation is marriage—the sacrament is powerful for healing and joy beyond anything so could’ve imagined. But being a working mom—these are two things I’ve discerned with my spiritual director I should be doing. But how? -A Working Mom
Universal Points (32:54)
  1. Can We Lose Our Salvation? - Say yes to Jesus today in little ways so that when death comes, you will be able to say yes then as well.
  2. Quitting Smoking - Be patient with yourself. Freedom usually happens gradually over time.
  3. Working Moms - If you are struggling, recognize that you are not alone. God sees all the hard work you do for your family and at work. He loves you.

Now, Fr.Josh is the pastor for Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Louisiana, and he is a presenter in two of Ascension’s programs: Altaration, and YOU: Life, Love, and the Theology of the Body.
