Prayers Against the Powers of Darkness is the complete text of "Supplications Which May Be Used by the Faithful Privately in Their Struggle Against the Powers of Darkness," which is Appendix II of Exorcisms and Related Supplications, the ritual book used by exorcists. While the official ritual book for exorcism is only distributed to bishops for use by certain priests they assign to serve as exorcists in their diocese, the prayers from this appendix can be prayed privately by all Catholics.

This prayer book will give Catholics a repository of prayers to pray anytime they feel spiritually attacked by the devil and in times of temptation. The prayers will support them in their struggle against evil on the journey toward heaven and bring comfort to anyone who prays them.
