This twelve-part DVD Series explores the first Pillar of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, The Creed. Far more than a list of “faith facts,” the Catechism provides a sure map for your journey of faith. Presented by Sean Innerst, Pillars shows how the teachings of the Church are intimately connected with the story of the Faith, and how you can enter into that story.
The DVD Set Includes:
- Twelve 45 minute presentations, each designed to accompany a lesson in Pillar I: The Creed Student Workbook.
- Dynamic graphics
- On-screen quotes, citations and references.
…and more.
Note: Pillars was originally planned as a 4-Part series, but due to editorial and production factors, only the first two parts, Pillar I: The Creed, and Pillar II: Sacraments will be available for purchase.

Yes, Father J. N., I agree with your statement. When I was asked to make the four-part series I was told that we would make all four and then, without explanation, the other two were cancelled, even though the first two were selling well. Try though I might, I have never been able to get even one person at Ascension Press to explain anything about this to me. It has been many years and much of the material I originally presented to Ascension I have found floating around on the internet without attribution. And the last two volumes of the study that I wrote for publication were provided to the Archdiocese of St. Paul, MN who are still using them for courses they teach, though they were never properly published by Ascension, contrary to my contracts. It is all very sad and I pray God forgives them. - The Author
Originally we were promised that the series would cover all four parts of the Catechism: Pillar I - The Creed, Pillar II - The Sacraments, Pillar III - The Moral Life, Pillar IV - Prayer. After investing in Pillar I and Pillar II, I was shocked and surprised to find out that Pillar III and Pillar IV will not be available. Ascension Press should reimburse us not only for the money we paid to them, but also for our investment in setting up a program which we will be forced to cancel. I set up a program to cover the entire Catechism based on the four Pillars as promised in the introduction located in Pillar I. I believe that Ascension Press has a moral responsibility to complete the program and not leave it’s customers hanging in the air.
