Day 30: Go Forth, The Mass is Ended

Don’t overlook the Closing Rites! In these final moments of the Mass, we’re receiving a special blessing and mission that goes back not just to the Apostles, to Jesus, or to King David, but all the way to the Garden of Eden, when God gave a blessing to Adam and Eve that is still given to us today. Dr. Sri walks us through the story of the blessing that was handed down, and inspires us to the mission that we’re given every time we leave Mass. We should leave asking, “how might God be inviting me to bring his love into the places around me?”
