Envision: Theology of the Body for Middle School
by Brian Butler, Jason Evert, and Colin & Aimee MacIver
An 8-lesson human formation program for grades 6 - 8
All hearts, especially the hearts of young people, are hungry for God’s truth about love, identity, and dignity.
Middle schoolers today are constantly asking questions about who they are, who they should be, and where true success and happiness can be found. Countless sources—including pop culture, social media, and their peers—are ready to provide them answers.
Amidst all the confusion, St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body offers clear answers about our identity, relationships, and sexuality—and Ascension’s newest program makes this timeless wisdom accessible and relatable to middle school students.
Envision presents the core truths of Theology of the Body with three key questions:
- Who am I?
- Where am I going?
- How do I get there?
Envision: Theology of the Body for Middle School is an updated version of the groundbreaking program Theology of the Body for Teens used by tens of thousands of students over the past decade. With brand-new videos, streamlined workbooks, guides for parents, and tools for leaders, Envision presents John Paul II’s revolutionary teaching on to students in a way that is both engaging and easy to follow. Like the previous Theology of the Body for Teens program, Envision is a comprehensive and interactive catechetical program that will fit perfectly into Catholic religious education, schools, youth ministry, and homeschool settings. Using a great mix of stories, real-life examples, activities, and prayers, Envision cuts through the noise of today’s culture and inspires young people to envision a life of authentic freedom and love.
