Description

The Student Pack is essential for each student participating in Envision: Theology of the Body for Middle School. It contains everything they need to begin asking the big questions about who they are, where they are headed, and how they are going to get there.

The Student Pack includes:

  • Student Workbook
  • Parent's Guide
  • Online Access, for one year, to stream the video content and online workbook.

“It is Jesus … you seek when you dream of happinessIt happiness; he is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; he is the beauty to which you are so attracted; it is he who provokes you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise; it is he who urges you to shed the masks of a false life; it is he who reads in your hearts your most genuine choices, the choices that others try to stifle.”—St. John Paul II, World Youth Day, Rome, 2000

You are created in God’s image and likeness. You are created by a God who is love, who loves you wildly—and who wants you to learn to love him, yourself, and others the same way he loves you, in the freedom we were made for. How can this truth—that you are so greatly loved and destined for such greatness—become real for you?

Reflecting the pedagogical approach of St. John Paul II’s revolutionary teaching, the program cuts through the noise of today’s culture and inspires young people to envision a life of authentic freedom and love.

Colin MacIver

Colin MacIver is a theology teacher, author, speaker, and longtime minister with a passion for helping others encounter Christ. For more than two decades, he has served the Church through education and parish ministry, including as a theology teacher, religion department chair, and campus ministry coordinator at St. Scholastica Academy in Covington, Louisiana. He currently serves as Senior Director of Evangelization at Jesuit High School in New Orleans.

Colin is the author of the guide to Quick Catholic Lessons with Fr. Mike and, alongside his wife, Aimee, is the co-author and presenter of Theology of the Body for Teens: Middle School Edition, as well as the co-author of the Chosen Parent's and Sponsor's Guides and other Ascension resources. Whether teaching, writing, speaking, or making music, Colin is dedicated to helping people grow in their faith and discover the joy of the Gospel.

Colin lives in Louisiana with his wife, Aimee, and their two children, Leo and Zelie. When he's not serving in ministry, you can find him eating way too many crawfish, crafting cringeworthy dad jokes, or trying—without much success—to load the dishwasher correctly.
