How can we as Catholics build relational bridges with our Protestant brothers and sisters, especially with those who are anti-Catholic and see Catholics as less than Christian or even pagan? Also, do you know the historical reason behind this mentality?

Saint Story: St. Joseph (14:10)

St. Joseph is the spouse of Mary, the father of Jesus. Joseph did not “possess” Mary, he let Mary be free, and in that freedom he simply provided for Jesus. There were no ulterior motives in how he lived. We can imitate that in our own lives in striving for a deeper relationship with Mary and our Savior, Jesus Christ. His prayer was a prayer that was devoted to the Word of God, and so we can follow his example of virtue in our devotion to the word of God as well. If we are devoted to God's Word, then God's Word will illuminate our conscience.
