Reading through this great book in its small but original version as a young man, I could hear the spirit of God speaking to my soul.
Inspires a true knowledge of God, self and detachment from the world.
Having listened to the intro podcast reminds me of how much I have strayed and the need to draw closer to God once again.
The feel of the book cover in my hands is so nice. Also, the print size is not too small for my aging eyes! Thank you! I am just starting to read but I love it already. So many words of wisdom.
I started reading this book in anticipation of Fr Mikes study coming up Oct 22. The first and second books remind me of Proverbs and this third book is how I would like to have a conversation with God. I would highly recommend this book! I’m excited to start Fr Mikes study!

I have an older, smaller and difficult to read copy of In Imitation of Christ. The Ascension Press product is larger with heavy weight paper, and a great font size making it very easy to read for older eyes. The book cover is embossed in a rich dark color making it an elegant addition to my library. I’m looking forward to reading the updated edition with Father Mike.
