It is very practical as it protect the material.
Adds a beautiful leather protection and closure for the Great Adventure Bible and someplace to securely place documents like Baptismal Certificate and such. I love the blue and wish they made one of these big enough for the premium version. Also, the cover doesn’t slip around needing to reset the Bible in the cover.
I love this product , the leather like Bible Cover is durable and built to last .
Given that you could get this cover from the manufacturer OreMoose but then have to pay extra for the design, it's a great value to get it direct from Ascension. I have bought one directly from them for my Catechism of the Catholic Church, a cover for my rosary and another one from St Paul Center for the Ignatius Catholic Bible Old and New Testaments. The folks are OreMoose make very high quality covers and given that my Great Adventure Bible is my go to bible for retreats, I need a good cover and one that honors it with the respect it deserves.
These are expensive but are of high quality and made to last. Additionally, I suspect the artist who makes these covers prays for those using them. I highly recommend these covers.i
Exceptional cover, wonderful craftsmanship, and quality leather.
I have the Note Taking edition of the GAB. I'd like to protect my investment but it the right size to do that? What are the dimensions of the cover?
It doesn’t fit my goatskin assension bible
The premium leather cover is excellent. The leather is of high quality and provides excellent look, feel, and protection for my bible. It is expensive; however, I appreciate the value of the hand craftsmanship and premium materials. I also like knowing that I am supporting a small Catholic business. I would recommend visiting their website, OREMOUSE.COM for many more choices of leathers and they will customize a cover for any size bible or book based on your books measurements that you provide. They also offer custom personalization options. FYI Jeff Cavins has an online video about the covers on their site which is very informative. I intend to purchase more products from OREMOUSE in the future..
This beautiful blue leather cover provides a cover fit to protect and preserve the Great American Bible. I love the snap to hold the Bible closed and the pocket formed where I can put my prayer cards. I wish the words “Holy Bible” or “Great American Bile” had been embossed on the spine. Hoping there will be a version of this available for the premium version as I love the blue and want an extra protective cover and the ability to hold the Bible closed without having to add a strap.
It doesn’t fit the Great Adventure Catholic Bible, Second Edition It’s bending the cover.
Leather covers are nice, but for one with the most basic of stitching, no zipped enclosure, no pockets, its difficult to see how this can possibly justify the "premium" pricing.
I have the large print Bible. Please let me know when you have one for the Large print Bible.
