I was looking for a cover for my Bible, not a suitcase for it. Quality is fine, but beware this thing could fit two bibles and a book easily. It is massive. Too big for anything I want to use it for.
I was disappointed at how flimsy it is;I expected it to be have more sturdy- leather like. Also the zipper falls in between folds and is very difficult for arthritic hands to dig out and start zipping.
I was looking for something to take my Bible and study items to class and for traveling. I wanted something that didn’t have straps and could be on the table/desk in front of me. It needed enough room for my Bible, reading glasses, pens, notebook., etc. this worked perfectly. The study guide for Luke is smaller than previous study guides and it fits in this case. I took one of the ribbons from the bookmark and tied it to the Zipper pull. When this is fully open the zipper pull goes clear up and is hard to reach. If they could have a pull at the end of that then I’d give this 5 stars
The cover is beautiful and the inside provides space for the first edition of the Bible along with the leather covered Catechism. I have to remove it when I want to use it but it is easier to only carry one book. Having space for pens and more bookmarks beside the beautiful leather one included is helpful when you’re trying to find multiple Books in the Bible

It is to big and bulky. It at all what I expected but I am dealing with it.
I should have paid attention to the dimensions! It is so ugly I could cry! It’s like a big blue box! The face is lovely and so is the bookmark that is included. It is twice the size of the actual Bible! Who does that? The spine is hard and I think it’s cardboard that makes it so. I’m not returning it only because I would have to pay for shipping again. I paid $10.50 to get it shipped. I ordered it when I received an email. I wish I had seen the more expensive cover before ordering. That one does look similar to what I was expecting. This cover does have a zipper to keep the Bible secure and a strap inside to slide the back cover in but it was a challenge to slide it in. I decided not to keep it secured inside. You can also carry it with the handle on the spine. Personally, I would not recommend this bible cover. I definitely would not gift it to anyone.
I love that Ascension listened to everyone asking for a Bible cover at a reasonable price. It looks great and feels well made, but it’s huge. I have my Bible, four highlighters, a pen, the bookmark it came with, and another book (Stunned by Scripture) inside, and there’s still lots of room left. It’s a lovely cover, just bigger than it needs to be. I’d definitely buy a smaller one if they make it!
