Filmed on location in the Holy Land, this study places you within the powerful story of Mary’s earthly life, walking with her through her joys and her sorrows. Along the way, you will discover how Scripture unveils Mary’s role in God’s plan and how she continues to draw believers closer to her Son today.
Seeing Mary in this way will change you forever. Mary will become a part of your daily life, and through her example you will grow more like Christ.

We had 2 classes going through this series, total of 60 students. We loved all the photography on location, where most of us have never been! Puts meaning in to walking in Mary's footsteps! The workbooks are beautifully produced and colorful, informative and especially love the lecture outlines where we can follow along and take notes. These are outstanding resources! Well done Ascension!
At our parish in Morgan Hill CA, St. Catherine of Alexandria, we are using this study on Mary. I am enjoying it immensely so far. Learning a lot. Strengthening my appreciation for Mary in Salvation History. The gentleman leading the study is doing a great job. We finished The Visitation yesterday. I also liked him in the program about the Mass. However, in the Visitation, it appears as though he missed a big part of the story. The Magnificat of Mary has a precursor in the prayer of Hannah in 1 Samuel 2: 1-10. The first time that I read that prayer, many years ago, I remember observing the similarity of Hannah's prayer and the Magnificat. I brought that point up during the class last night. Our instructor (I don't mean to criticize her at all) was not aware of Hannah's prayer. When I showed it to her, she got it immediately. I am surprised that Hannah's prayer is not mentioned in the video or the text for the Visitation. Could you help me understand that better, please? I don't pretend to be a Bible scholar at all. Thank you for making this study. It appears as though it was made well before the current war situation in the Holy Land reached its present crisis point.
I really enjoyed this Bible study about Mary. I learned so much about the comparison of the old and new testaments and really felt closer to our mother Mary. I also really enjoyed the videos and seeing rhe places where Mary and Jesus walked.
Thank you for bringing me closer to Mary. I was brought up Catholic and always honored Mary. I learned that Mary is our mother too. As Jesus was dying on the cross, he proclaimed Mary the mother of John and all Christians. With all Mary’s sorrows, she persevered. May we all do the same. 🙏
Beautifully done, insightful and the format was perfect for quick study and group sharing. We all found a renewed wonder at the mystery of Mary and the Old Testament prophecies fulfilled. And her role as queen mother. The videos wrapped up each chapter with sites in the holy land and teaching from Dr Sri. Highly recommended- Sandy, from Draper Utah
