Curtis Martin

Curtis Martin is a Catholic evangelist with a passion for forming missionary disciples and helping others encounter Jesus Christ in a personal way. As a young adult, Curtis experienced a profound reversion to the Catholic Faith after drifting from it in his youth, an experience that ignited his lifelong commitment to evangelization and campus ministry.

In 1998, Curtis co-founded the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) with his wife, Michaelann, in response to the need for a strong Catholic presence on college campuses. What began with a small group of students has grown into a global apostolate serving thousands through Bible studies, mentorship, and mission-driven outreach. Curtis holds a master’s degree in theology and has served as a consultor to the Vatican’s Dicastery for the New Evangelization.

Through his work with Ascension as a presenter of No Greater Love: A Biblical Walk Through Christ’s Passion, Curtis equips Catholics to live and share the Gospel with clarity and conviction. 

After nearly three decades leading FOCUS as CEO, he stepped into a new season of leadership while remaining actively engaged in the mission. He lives in Colorado with his wife and their family.
