You Have a Rational Soul — and That Matters
As human beings made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), we have the unique capacity to think, ponder, discern, and choose. Your interior world is sacred ground.
Silence Is Not Empty — It’s Essential
In a culture filled with constant noise and distraction, we must fight for time to think. Silence creates space for reflection, gratitude, and hearing God’s voice.
You Are Not a Victim of Your Thoughts
While thoughts arise spontaneously, we are not powerless.
By grace, we can choose:
- Which thoughts to dwell on
- Which thoughts to reject
- Which thoughts to surrender
- We can “put on the mind of Christ” (Philippians 2:5).
Ask: “Is It Kind?”Inspired by Dr. Edith Eger’s witness, a powerful discernment question emerges: Is this thought kind?
If yes — receive it. If not — let it pass
You Are Not Alone in Your Mind
Prayer is a dialogue, not a monologue. We do not navigate our interior world alone. Jesus walks with us there. Community, spiritual friendship, and vulnerability can transform our thinking and bring clarity and peace.

Challenges of the Week:
- Give yourself permission to wonder in gratitude for what you encounter in the day.
- Return to the Lord with your whole heart so he can fill you with peace and Ask Our Lady, Queen of Peace, to guard your mind.
- Make an intentional act of surrender at night to quiet your mind (“Into Your hands, Lord…” — Luke 23:46).
- Allow your mind to think of other people (a text, note, or prayer for another).
