Never liked going to confession. This booklet helped me enormously

I’ve been looking for an up dated guide for confession and this is it. It’s easy to read, informative and thought provoking. This is a guide that I’ll be able to use and refer to to help me make good confessions.

Truly one of the most insightful explanation of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. As a life long Catholic, there was so much depth to this guide on things I had forgotten or never really understood. I’ve recommended this to everyone I know.

I wish I had this book years ago, it is so good , it explains things so clearly ! I love it and use it all the time!

Great guide and easy reading

For someone who is never sure what to say in Confession, this book is perfect. I lurched the pdf version and can easily take it with me when I do go.

It is concise without leaving out the “meat” and by using “today parables” is inviting relatability.

Very good quality, short read, and a great examination of conscience. This is a great resource to get back into confession as a catholic. I refer to this almost weekly now. The grace of confession is a wonderful gift.

I thought this book was going to be like a confession guide, go through the commandments and help me figure out my sins. I am about half way through and I am just blown away by how much more is in this than I expected. In all my life I don’t think anyone has ever explained confession to me like this. I am leaning so much and am so grateful to have found this, thank you Fr Mike and Fr Josh for making this book and explaining things so differently and clearly. There are so many things I just never thought about or considered that I’m now learning.

Having made my Profession of Faith a year and a half ago at age 74, this is all very new to me.
I confessed my lifetime of sins and felt the weight of the world lifted from my shoulders. This little guide is a tremendous resource in educating me in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. I have so much to learn. I just completed the Bible in a Year and just began Catechism in a Year. I LOVE being Catholic.!

I thought it was so good I purchased it as a gift for 4 of my friends. Easy to read and understand. I always had a hard time going to reconciliation but it really helped.

I have trouble understanding and digesting most Catholic literature. In an attempt to cover the nuance and complexity of the faith, it seems to me that there is undue complexity and ambiguity in most of the works I have attempted to read. That is not true of this book. Every sentence, every concept, every illustration is clear and helpful. Having read this book, I have a clearer understanding of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and how liberating it is to my soul. Fr. Mike and Fr. Josh are talented conveyers of Catholic truth in accessible ways. I will keep this book and reread it often.

This book was nothing short of outstanding. Fr. Mike's explanation of the reality of sin that we all share... Always coupled with the abundant mercy of Jesus renewed my love for this sacrament. The different ways of examining ones conscience was also very helpful. I keep the book closer at hand!
