Pocket Guide to the Rosary

This book has widened my understanding of the rosary! I now read before I pray and am able to visualize each mystery and not have my mind wander.

Very good companion guide to praying the rosary. Scripture references, an Insight passage to help reflect on the mystery and a Personal Application for the mystery. Imprimatur given. Also nice illustration pictures (paintings?). Quality binding.

I bought it as a gift for my daughter; I'm encouraging her to pray the rosary as often as she can. I hope this guide helps, it's perfect for her to keep with her at all times.

I wish this could be updated using the Rosary in a Year with colored art and a two page format that could lie flat for praying and meditating on each mystery. Maybe add a one- or two-line emphasis for each mystery.

I’ve now purchased two pocket guides. The first was instrumental in helping me cement the rosary into my daily prayer life, and after two years with it I’ve now purchased a second copy that my wife and I use to pray the rosary together. 10/10, will be getting more copies in the future.

This little guide is wonderful is wonderfully it really helps me to stay focused on the mysteries of the rosary. I recommend it to everyone.

Growing up, no one ever explained they "why" of saying the Rosary. Finally, I understand. Straightforward and clear.

I purchased The pocket guide to the Rosary at the beginning of Lent. It’s been a long time since I’ve practiced my faith, especially during Lent. I had no idea that not only were we yo pray the Rosary everyday, but also to Meditate on the Mysteries as we prayed. This book has strengthened my faith 🙏

I bought the e-book and it was well worth it. The only problem is that it has a lot of white pages, which are unnecessary for a digital book. It is a bit annoying to navigate with those "gaps".

Although the content is beautiful, I’m very disappointed in the size of the book for the price. I thought that would’ve been much more content for $25. This is a pocket pamphlet put in a nice cover. I bought it as a gift for a new convert but a little embarrassed by its appearance as a gift for such a special occasion.

This guide is exactly what I needed to enrich my meditation while praying the Rosary.

This book met my expectations. One improvement might be color, rather than black and white sacred art. I have enjoyed this as an adjunct to the Rosary in a Year.

Fantastic companion to the Rosary that we all know and love. This goes a bit deeper than USCCB materials that I was already using and familiar with. I can honestly say, the only thing lacking is colorful artwork. I will be gifting this Title for Christmas this year to all I know who pray the Rosary regularly.

Just what I needed (and didn't know). Use it daily.

I purchased an additional copy for one of our priests; lent mine to a friend who ordered his own copy.

This is the third pocket guide I’ve bought from Ascension Press and I would say this one is the most standard. I should also preface that I have a pretty solid relationship with the rosary to start with, but I was seeking new meditation prompts from this guide. It 100% delivered that and the layout was helpful and easy to navigate. If you are well versed in the rosary, it might not be needed- but it is nice to have. As a suggestion, I would like to see a pocket like in the back of a moleskin for prayer cards and notes.

I am a newer Catholic. I love the Rosary and love to participate in a group setting or alone. The book is not only beautiful but useful. You do not need anything but your beads,

First the price. To high.
Then the first Glorious Mystery on page 48,
which is the first one I opened to, because it was Sunday, has a typo!
It says, "Do not be amazed;" ?? It should say, “Do not be "alarmed. "
I am sad to see the book has been in print since 2019 and that hasn't been changed.
Also the "How to Pray the Rosary" on page 90? in the Appendix? Does not even say when to pray the Mystery's? ALSO the 5 and 10 are wrong... How has no one else caught this?

I bought it to be able to do the rosary as it been awhile that I said the rosary. Glad I bought it enjoying saying the rosary.

I bought this for myself and it really has added to my praying the Rosary. I loved it so much that I’m giving them as gifts this year. I take it with me to Adoration and I would definitely recommend it!

I’ve been looking for something to meditate on the mysteries for the First Five Saturdays & this Pocket Guide to the Rosary has been perfect! I especially like the Insight & Personal Application sections & I’m thinking of buying the Pocket Guide to the Sacrament of Reconciliation !

I found this a great gift for my daughter who just graduated from college, mainly because she really likes the author, Matt Fradd! and although she recites the Rosary, she didn't have a guide such as this. However, I bought one for myself but returned it only because I am a reciter of the Rosary for many years, and I was expecting more info on the background of the Rosary and more on how to meditate on the 20 mysteries in this age.

Great purchase, wasn't sure how to pray my Rosary or even the words to a prayer that should be well known to me. All is revealed in this book. Thank you, Ascension!

I love the way it explains the rosary and then describes each mystery. It makes it so easy to stay focused while praying the rosary.
