Sr. Maris Stella

Sr. Maris Stella is a member of the Sisters of Life who is dedicated to helping others encounter the transforming love of Jesus Christ. After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy, she served as a Naval Officer, where she experienced a profound encounter with Christ in the Eucharist that opened her heart to religious life and led her to discern her vocation. After five years of military service, she entered the Sisters of Life in 2006 and professed her final vows in 2014.

Sr. Maris Stella holds a Master of Arts in Theology from the Augustine Institute and currently serves in leadership within her community, helping to form others in the consecrated life.

Through her work with Ascension, including her role as a presenter for When You Pray: A Clear Path to a Deeper Relationship with God, she invites others to grow in awareness of their identity as beloved sons and daughters of God.

She continues to serve in a variety of missions, accompanying women, leading retreats, and contributing to evangelization efforts, always seeking to share God’s mercy and affirm the dignity of every human person.
