Bishop Gregory Mansour is a Maronite Catholic bishop with a passion for strengthening faith, family life, and the witness of Eastern Christianity within the universal Church.
After earning a degree in health education from Western Michigan University, he discerned a call to the priesthood and entered Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Seminary. He completed advanced theological studies at The Catholic University of America (STB) and later at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome (STL), preparing for a life of pastoral leadership and spiritual formation. Ordained a priest in 1982, he served in parish ministry and held key leadership roles, including Vicar General of the Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon. In 2004, he was appointed by Pope St. John Paul II as Bishop of the Eparchy of Saint Maron of Brooklyn.
Through his work with Ascension as a presenter of What We Believe: The Beauty of the Catholic Faith, Bishop Mansour invites Catholics to deepen their faith and encounter the beauty of the Church’s diverse traditions.
Today, he continues to shepherd a vibrant and growing community of Maronite faithful across the United States.
