Drea Zigarmi was an author, educator, and leadership expert whose work helped shape the field of leadership development for more than four decades. As one of the founding partners of Blanchard, he co-developed Situational Leadership® II, one of the world's most widely taught leadership models, and devoted his career to helping leaders foster trust, growth, and healthy organizations.
Drea co-authored several influential books on leadership and served for many years as a professor in the Master's in Executive Leadership program at the University of San Diego. He lived in Escondido, California, with his partner, Susan Fowler, and was the father of two daughters and grandfather of five.
