Curtis Mitch is the Bible Projects Managing Editor and a concurrent Associate Professor of Sacred Scripture at the Augustine Institute. Passionate about helping Catholics encounter Christ through Sacred Scripture, Curtis has dedicated his career to biblical scholarship, theological education, and making the riches of God's Word more accessible to the faithful.

For more than two decades, Curtis served as Associate Editor and principal annotator of the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible. He is also the co-author of commentaries on the Gospel of Matthew with Edward Sri and the Letter to the Romans with Scott Hahn, as well as a contributor to numerous books and articles on Scripture and Catholic theology. Before joining the Augustine Institute, Curtis served with Ignatius Press, the Diocese of Pittsburgh, and the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology, and taught Sacred Scripture at both Franciscan University of Steubenville and Catholic Distance University.

Curtis earned a bachelor's degree in religious studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master's degree in theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He and his wife, Stacy, live in Ohio with their nine children.
