Royal Psalms

  • Earthly king - enthronement
  • Future king - messiah
  • The heavenly king whom we worship and who reigns over our lives

Psalm 95:3-4 The Lord is King!

“The Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods

In his hands are the depths of the earth;

The heights of the mountains are his also.

The sea is, for he made it;

For his hands formed the dry land.”

Psalm 95:5-6 Therefore, let us bow down, worship and surrender - hearken his voice

“O come, let us worship and bow down

Let us kneel before the Lord, our maker.

For he is our God and we are the people of his pasture,

And the sheep of his hand.

O That today you would hearken his voice!

Harden not your hearts as at Meribah…”
