Quotes and scripture verses

"The sin of the century is the loss of the sense of sin." — Pope Pius XII (No. 18)

Philippians 3:13–14

"Brethren, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Hebrews 12:1–3

1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us,
2 looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.

I’m so grateful to have guidance because I have a hard time examining my conscience since my mind goes blank when I try to do that. Now, I have concluded this might be the work of the enemy and now that I am sure of what I must do my confidence is looming in my future. Thank you!
