Advent Series EP 3: What You Listen to Changes You
Ascension TeamWhether it's music, the media, the voice of the Lord, our own thoughts, or the lies of the enemy, everything we listen to has a profound impact on our souls. Sr. Mary Grace, Sr. Magnificat Rose, and Sr. Cora Caeli challenge us to examine the voices we are listening to, reminding us that what we listen to can either draw us closer to God or pull us away from His love and truth.

Challenges of the Week
-
Fill your mind with what is good and true.
Choose positive, uplifting music that draws you more deeply toward the Lord—whether that’s Christian music, classical music, or even intentional silence. In that quiet, make space for Scripture so you can hear and receive the voice of the Lord. -
Use people’s names intentionally.
Saying someone’s name when you encounter them is a simple but powerful gesture. It affirms their dignity and uplifts them. -
Recognize and reject the voice of the enemy.
The enemy is a bully whose voice discourages, isolates, and fills us with shame—telling us we are unloved or unwanted. When you notice yourself listening to that voice, name it for what it is, and turn to the truth of what Jesus says about you.
