How does it work?
Crux (Latin for "cross") is a system for doing Lent well, built on four core challenges:
- Daily reading of scripture
- Praying a nightly Examen
- One daily workout or exercise of your choice
- One dietary fast of your choice
What will happen?
By taking on these daily challenges, we allow ourselves to experience our own weakness—the place we'd rather avoid!
But it's when we experience our own weakness that we experience the incredible strength of our God—and Fr. Columba's daily spiritual guidance will help you recognize the presence of God throughout.
So here's the invitation: If you're ready for a Lent that stretches you, challenges you, and draws you closer to God in a lasting way, then simply say "yes."
