What if we’re thinking too small? God gave the human mind the incredible capacity to to dream, wonder, and imagine with Him. The Sisters encourage us to reclaim the art of dreaming with God—because love is always creative, and grace always makes more possible in our lives.
This season of Let Love is produced in collaboration with Ascension.
Shownotes
1. Think Bigger with God
- Our minds and hearts are created for more than survival mode or distraction.
- God invites us to expand our thinking—to dream, wonder, and imagine with Him.
- True Christian life is not constricted; it is expansive and full of possibility.
2. The “Lenten Lottery” – Joyful Intercessory Prayer
- A simple but powerful practice: write intentions, draw them daily, and pray.
- Builds unity, joy, and a bigger perspective in prayer.
- Helps shift focus from self to others—expanding the heart.
3. The Hidden Cost of Constant Distraction
- Excessive screen time can lead to:
- Social and emotional isolation
- Fragmented attention
- Spiritual dullness
- The invitation is not just “less screen time,” but “more life with God and others.”
4. Creative Love in Action
- Love is inherently creative—especially in suffering.
- Inspired by St. Maximilian Kolbe: “Love alone is creative.”
- When we choose love over fear or limitation, new paths emerge.
6. Gospel Imagination
- The healing of the paralytic (Mark 2:1–12) shows creative faith:
- The friends didn’t give up—they found another way (through the roof!)
- Jesus continually invites us to think differently and trust boldly.
7. The Power of Wonder & Leisure
- “Wonder spaces” or “dream days” allow room for creativity and deeper desires.
- Leisure is not wasted time—it allows truth and love to take root.
- Joy, beauty, and shared experiences open hearts to healing.
8. God Dreams First
- Prayer is not just bringing our desires—it’s God’s desires for us.
- As the Catechism teaches, prayer is our thirst meeting God’s thirst.
- God has already planted dreams within your heart.

Thank you sister for sharing the thoughts. I am 78 years and my children and grandchildren are raised, husband has passed and so much of my time is spent on useless distractions. Listening to you and your sister tonight inspire me so much, I took a page and a half of notes. I can’t wait to put some of the ideas into practice. Thank you so much for the inspiration and hope you have given me this evening. May God generously bless each of you for thoughts and ideas.

Hey Sisters, just wanted to let you know how much I’m enjoying your Lenten Series. You gals are knocking it outta the park! (Someone explain what that means to Sister Mary Grace…)
First, the fun you have with each other is palpable and it’s sweet to get to hang out with you for a while.
Your sense of humor is contagious and the stories you share to illustrate your points are fascinating.
Most importantly, your level of scholarship is remarkable as is your ability to present these deep insights in an accessible way. And your prayers are power-packed. You have wisdom well beyond your years.
You’re hip, fun, and inspirational. Clearly led by the Spirit. Stay humble and continue to crush it!
A blessed Holy Week and glorious Easter to you all!
I enjoyed listening to all your series and wait for them. They touch my heart. I spend 4 hours praying for our world besides working with Special Needs children.
Sisters, thank you for hosting this podcast. This is my first time listening. I greatly appreciate this topic on thinking bigger. I am at a point in my life where I making big changes for my life and I am grateful for the reminder that I am created for more than I may perceive, and the importance of brining my dreams back to God
