I read the Bible every day, in the morning before I go do anything. When I retired, I started this course, "The Bible Timeline". I cannot tell you how much clearer the Bible is to me. And I have read the Bible at least ten years now. That is ten times. Take this course whether you are just starting or an avid reader of the Bible. Everything is so much clearer and more exciting. I am looking forward to reading the Bible this time, just after this course. The Bible is more enlightening. You did it again, thanks.
I thought this was a wonderful study with so much information. I am new to bible study so it helped me to be able to watch the video for each lesson a couple times. Thank you for offering this study.
I thought I knew the Bible, but when I did this study I found I had missed so much, The breakdowns of the different times between events really helped me to better understand the who and what was happening. I would tell anyone who wants to better understand the Bible to take this course. I am sure I will go through it many more times.
This was God thing I’m sitting here watching Old Testament patriarch on Jeff Caven‘s Bible timeline show with Mary Healy, and I get a text from you for a review on the Bible timeline. I’m in my second class on Bible and the timeline maybe third did the short and the long courses. I’ve done Bible in the year twice. And I can’t thank you enough for everything that you have done in helping me grow in understanding the Bible. It is a fabulous program that every Catholic should encounter.
I have done a number of bible studies of specific books of the bible. I have found this study to be the best of any I have done.
It ties the entire Bible together in a continuing story of our history, intertwining the old and new testaments in such a way that I wanted to learn more about the Old Testament than ever before. It also gives rise to such an appreciation for our biblical ancestors. Jeff Cavins does a wonderful job of explaining our role in this continuing history of the Church, and our need to openly carry on this role.
