This gem of a book helped me continue my Reflections during the entire Christmas season. When everyone else was packing Christmas away for another year I was still celebrating Christmas and it’s true meaning. Love these books Father Toups!
The Rejoice! series on TRUST was a blessing to lead and to experience personally. We had over 100 people in our parish participating in small groups or individually. I encouraged the small groups to continue the study with Rejoice! and be Glad at home after Christmas. I am finishing the study this weekend. I was so blessed by the meditations each day after the birth of Christ. To enter into the special events that happened after Jesus was born gave me new insights into the Christmas story- the poverty of the young family, the faith of the Magi, and the humility of the shepherds of Bethlehem. I also grew in my understanding of trust- that we must trust in God, not trust in the outcome of events that we pray for. Thank you, Ascension team and Fr. Mark Toups for yet another life-changing series that helps us develop a deeper relationship with Our Lord.
Usually when Christmas is over, I've moved on to other readings but this year with the help of "Rejoice & Be Glad!" I felt like I was part of the whole Christmas story. The challenges each day allowed me to feel like I was part of the family.
As of the moment, I am not done(two more days to go) but have loved having reflections after Christmas!!!
Fr. Toups writes so well and really brings clarity to the reflections. The videos are terrific. I am very grateful,

This has been a beautiful book, I look forward each morning to writing on the page for the day and reflecting on the daily word. This is a book I will keep and look back on, it is a true keeper with other meaningful prayer books in my library.
I have ordered these books every Advent and Lenten season since their beginning. Father Mark Toups writes in such a way to place us in the scene with Jesus, Mary and Joseph and thus use our imagination to go forward. The psalms he chooses are perfect and reflective. Thank you for these series!!
This prayerful book has led The me deeper into the beauty and freedom of surrender as traveling with Joseph, Mary, the Shepherds, the Magi and Simeon. The artwork inspires prayer so deeply!
We used the Rejoice study book and DVD as part of our Adult Advent Faith Formation at our Parish and it was very well received. People commented that it was very inspiring and thought provoking in the Advent Season. The Rejoice and Be Glad Book was given to a limited number of ministry head volunteers as a Christmas gift, and it too was very well received. I received many thanks for both books from the recipients. They loved them both! And so do I!
Our study group has been using the Rejoice books for a couple of years. I ordered them again expecting an Advent preparation book. Thats what happens when you don't read the whole description but go on past experience. We ended up having to use another Advent meditation book. We have used the Rejoice and Be Glad book and its good but again not what I expected.
Fr. Toups is amazing. A new perspective on so many points. Lovingly convicting and also welcoming at the same time.

This was a beautifully written book to help guide me through the Christmas season. It has beautiful insights into the gospel readings and person experiences to help you relate. There is room to journal and options to help you focus your prayer time.
I complete other Advent challenges but Father Toups perspective always makes the top of my list. I look forward to this book and the Lenten book every year.
How to keep the Hope of Christmas in your heart! Rejoice and Be Glad is the answer! I follow Rejoice in the advent and the Rejoice and be Glad was the perfect pairing to continue a good practice of daily meditating prayer
I really enjoyed the daily reflections and psalms to meditate on the deeper meaning and experience of Christmas.
Meh, I wanted the Rejoice Advent Study for the season of Advent leading up to Christmas-this was for Christmas and after. I should have been titled differently. I was disappointed b/c I wouldn't have ordered it had I known before hand.
This book and the Rejoice one for Advent came right to where I was within my life and spoke right to my heart and situation. It taught me what I'd needed for this part of the journey and how to savor it even more. These books are very well done.
