I had to ask Ascension Press for the PDF that is mentioned several times in the book: KAIROS LOGISTICS Preparation Checklist and Retreat Schedule
But once I got that, using it along with the book and also the black bags and student notebooks really helped me with my first Kairos retreat!

Kairos Best Practices Guide

I was looking for a source on the nuts and bolts of putting on Kairos retreats and I did not find this guide to be that. It is a fine book for a high level guide, but it does not help with the details of how or why you doing things on the retreat or provide suggestions. For example, I know each day has a special meaning/theme, but it does not address that. Nor what are the talks that teen leaders give.

There is value in the book if you need guidance for an overview or at the 50,000 feet view.
