Day 20: Like the Dewfall

The Eucharistic Prayer contains some interesting phrases: “ sending down your spirit upon them like the dewfall,” and “ grant that we may become one body, one spirit in Christ.” What do these really mean? Dr. Sri answers this question in today’s episode, revealing the connection between the manna in Exodus and our Eucharist today, and drawing on St. Paul’s explanation of the body of Christ to reveal that the Eucharist isn’t just about our personal relationship with Jesus, it’s about our fellowship with the entire body of Christ.
