Encounter Christ. Learn the Faith. Live it with joy.
A K–8 Religious Education Curriculum that Introduces a New Era of Evangelizing Catechesis
At Ascension, our mission is to present the truth and beauty of the Catholic Faith so that every person can encounter the living God. For years, millions of people have experienced transformation through trusted resources like The Bible in a Year® podcast and The Great Adventure Bible. Now that same spirit of evangelization and innovation is transforming religious education.
Introducing Pillars of Faith.
A groundbreaking, multimedia K–8 Catholic curriculum that brings catechesis and evangelization together—helping young learners not only learn the Faith, but live it fully and share it with others.
Why Religious Education Matters More than Ever
Helping joy-filled disciples learn, love, and live the Catholic Faith has always been one of the Church’s great goals. Today’s educators and catechists teach with dedication and care, yet in a busy, distracted world, there is a gap between learning about the Faith and living it.
For generations, the Church has pointed to the answer: returning to the living sources of Sacred Scripture, Tradition, and the Liturgy and integrating evangelization with catechesis. The vision has been clear—but it has been a persistent challenge to meet. Until now.
That’s why Ascension created Pillars of Faith. This groundbreaking Catholic curriculum brings Scripture and Tradition into every lesson, forming disciples who encounter Jesus Christ, empowering educators to teach with confidence and joy, and inviting families to live the Faith together at home and beyond.

A Curriculum Built for Today's Church and Tomorrow's Saints
Rooted in Scripture and Tradition, Pillars of Faith enables authentic encounters with Christ and builds lasting biblical and catechetical literacy.
It's the only K–8 curriculum paired with a first-of-its-kind Bible and Catechism adapted for young learners and those new to the Faith. From the earliest grades, children learn to use these two sources of truth and beauty to build a strong understanding of the Catholic creed, sacraments, morality, and prayer.
Because Ascension’s brand-new children’s Bible and Catechism mirror their adult counterparts, families can open the same sources together, creating a shared language of faith at home. Teachers and catechists are supported with training videos on teaching the Faith, easy-to-lead lessons, and time-saving resources to reinforce learning in and beyond the classroom.
Grades K–2 will be available for the 2026–2027 school year at parishes, schools, and for homeschooling groups. Sign up below to stay updated on Pillars of Faith Catholic Curriculum.
