I wrote a review but don't see it on here. This was a beautifully written book which I have already read and plan to re-read over and over again. Anything Jeff Cavins is involved in is great. And, of course, Tim Gray also. I've had more experience with Jeff Cavins' Bible Studies than with Dr. Gray, but he is every bit as excellent. God bless all at Ascension Press for making our bible studies come alive and inviting us to want more and more.

I received mine and I can't express how impressed I am with this. It's a great source of information. And the way it explains each event makes you want to go and re-read the Bible over and over.

One must have, "Walking with God". This book makes one understand the course, The Bible Timeline, so much easier. I had to read the book sometimes two or three times just to make sure I did not miss anything for some sessions. I am glad I have it. I actually opened the book up and reread some sections after I read my daily Bible readings for myself. Walking with God is a good book, not just for the course, but for anyone who reads the Bible regularly. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

A new design to match Bible in a year and does quite well, but can stand all alone by itself. A wonderful introduction to the big picture of salvation.

Dr. Tim Gray and Jeff Cavins out together a wonderful book explaining the Bible in a way even someone that hasn’t read the Bible can see what has taken place in it. Found it after doing the BiY and now on my second reading. We have also given this book as a gift to a friend and plan on giving a few out at Christmas

This book! Sixty-two years old and taught Catechism for a few years. but honestly had never read the Bible from start to finish 🙄. With this book as my guide, every morning I wake up looking forward to the next chapter of the amazing stories held inside my Bible.

I’ve been teaching Catechism for many years now and I’m no stranger to the Bible,
or so I thought. Excellent companion to my Ascension Bible and timeline chart. A very
easy read explaining all the little, sometimes overlooked, details of the Bible. Has especially helped me in my understanding of the Old Testament. I feel better prepared to help my students in their understanding of the Bible. A well deserved thank you to Dr. Gray and Mr Cavins for their wonderful work!

I absolutely love this book and have purchased copies for all my family. I also have the video series that goes with it. Our parish uses the studies from Assention, so I knew it would be great. It’s an amazing explanation and connection of the people and events in the Bible. It’s accessible to anyone, regardless of your previous knowledge. The book is also incredibly interesting to anyone that already has studied the Bible. I highly recommend this book!

This is an excellent book. So well researched and well written. It is an incredible journey as we see what God has done and is doing through His people

This wonderful book is especially helpful when we exit a Messianic Checkpoint in the Bible in a Year program. Removed from the Old Testament narrative, and then returning days later is confusing without this book to refresh the memory and get us back on track. I found it especially helpful for understanding the Divided Kingdom.
WALKING WITH GOD is on my nightstand with my GREAT ADVENTURE BIBLE.

I bought this book to accompany my listening to the Bible in a Year podcast. It is very helpful and adds additional insight to Fr. Mike’s commentary.

Going a bit slow but very interesting, my only complaint is that the font(text) is too small at least for me.

HIGHLY recommend this book. I am still merely in the story of Abraham and every new paragraph is revealing things I had never seen or even contemplated in the story. This book is a nugget of gold. I had to stop and write a review. Walking with God is helping me to see the unending grace, mercy, patience, compassion and humility of God in ways that I had always glossed over, even after studying the Word most of my adult life. I thank the Holy Spirit so much for leading me to purchase the book. May God continue to bless Tim and Jeff with great insight and understanding. Don't hesitate to purchase it for yourself.

I am so glad I bought this book. It is a great reference guide to reading BIAY. It is truly a gift to dig deeper into the word of God . I am so thankful for Jeff Cavins and Tim Gray and of course, Fr. Mike.

I highly recommend this book as you listen to the Bible in a Year podcast. It has good insights that go beyond what we learn in the podcast. It is easy to read. I just read the pages that accompany the podcast, so it will take me the whole year to read the book. I have many aha moments, and because it is a little something every day, I am able to remember more of the stories and their consequences. This is a way God has increase my understanding and my compassion for humanity, and love for our Creator. Shalom, VL

I've started the Bible in a Year and have had some difficulty keeping up with the schedule on a daily basis. I thought Walking with God would be at least a slight distraction to proceeding but I've found it very helpful and difficult to put down. It hits me like a cliff notes version of the BIAY, a mile high overview of what Fr Mike is unpacking in more detail on a daily basis. I wouldn't say it's necessary to read to follow BIAY but, at least for myself, it has reignited the fire for BIAY and I don't feel so "in the dark" as I proceed thru Fr Mikes shares.

I just started reading this book while halfway through the Great Adventure Bible study in a year podcast with Father Mike Schmitz. I love the podcast so much I wanted to keep reading about it. I jumped ahead to divided kingdom which you can do with this book. I read past the podcast so that spoiled surprises from the podcast for me since I was unfamiliar with that part of the Bible. However, this book contains good information and it is a resource I am guessing I will go to often while reading the Bible. Thank you for this very helpful tool in understanding the Bible!

I purchased this book halfway through Bible In A Year Podcast and it has been extremely helpful in understanding the timeline of the Bible in addition to Father Mike's explanations/reflections. I am so excited to have these resources to help me understand God's word better. Everyone reading the Bible should consider purchasing this book.

This book has open my eyes to the treasures in the Bible. It helps me the understand lessons in the Bible. I am part of the Bible in A Year with Father Mike and Jeff Cavins. They do a great job as teachers and the book WALKING WITH GOD compliments them. I would recommend it.

I am thoroughly enjoying reading Walking With God, and am finding it an indispensable supplement to Ascension's Bible in a Year podcast which I am currently following. Even with all my years of studying the Bible through advanced catechetical certification classes, university classes, parish Bible studies and independent studies, I am continually amazed by how much more there is to learn. Studying the Bible with the BIY podcasts and Walking With God brings it all together in a more comprehensive manner than all of my previous learning endeavors!

I purchased this book shortly after buying my Great Adventure Bible. I started reading it and stopped. But I began the Bible in a Year study at the beginning of this year, It is a wonderful compliment to the Bible study. Jeff Cravins also does some presentations in the Bible study when we reach a new era on the timeline. If doing the Ascenion Press Bible in a Year this is a supplement to help you learn more.

As I read this book and the bible, I began to see the connections. This book is written in a way that is very easy to read and comprehend. I am doing the Bible as a timeline study now and it just puts everything into focus for me.
