A group of us journeyed to a local retreat center and prayed the Stations together. Everyone was so moved by how this guide is written, how well it captured Jesus’ walk to Calvary.

A beautiful booklet for entering into Lent more deeply. I love the linkage of the Old Testament Psalms with Jesus' Passion and the different perspective it offers.

Every lent I pray the stations of the cross daily. So I’ve had different versions over the years, but this tops them ALL. The Psalms make it more meaningful.

I wanted a small booklet that I could fit into my purse when I went to church. Easy reading and a fine assist in praying the at each station of the cross.

Just finished reading it during Stations at our parish tonight. Always has been special to me but this version, with the psalms included, added a new level of contemplation and meditation. It helped bring me “deeper” into our Lord’s passion. Thank you for making it available. God bless.

This book is very easy to read & I loved how the Psalms were incorporated with each station & making it easier to focus on each station. I also liked praying the Psalms that Jesus would have prayed during His time. It made me feel closer to Him. The artwork for each station was beautifully done in a way for reflection & prayer at each station. I have recommended this book to many of my family & friends.

I have many prayer books for the Stations of the Cross, but what makes this one special, is the Contemplative section which provides you with an insight to what Jesus might have been thinking or praying during each Station. If you enjoy Lectio Divina, you will enjoy this booklet. The photos provided are also beautiful and moving. I enjoyed praying this and will continue to use it during my time in Adoration with our Blessed Sacrament. I had never considered that Jesus had been praying the entire time nor with His Mother until I received this booklet.

Beautiful way to be in those moments with Jesus- best way I have prayed the Way of the Cross!

Every year, I like to introduce my parishioners to a different version of the Way of the Cross. I was very happy to see Fr. Toups version and ordered a copy for myself. Once I saw how good it was, I ordered 200 copies for the parish. Being able to share with parishioners how the Lord Jesus would have prayed the Psalms so regularly and then tie them into the Stations of the Cross has made this Lent a journey that opened to them the beauty of the Book of Psalms.

I believe that it must be very challenging to come up with a new guide to accompany a person's devotion to the Stations of the Cross.
This little book accomplished that task most excellently! It is brief...the photos of the statues at each station are beautiful...the idea of incorporating the Psalms within the context is brilliant...the Stabat Mater is conveniently located in the back of the book...the opening prayer and the concluding prayer are great (and brief).
Fr. Toups concludes his Introduction this way: "Using the Psalms as words into his own heart, let us accompany Jesus on his way to the Cross."

Very well done. I also got the free audio version. I like to listen to the audio and read along with my ebook. I've wanted to pray the stations regularly for a long time and this combination makes it so easy.

This is a beautifully written guide. Includes bible verses, reflection and prayer. Highly recommend this book . The pictures are so well done you feel as if you are there at the foot of the cross.

A beautiful reflection on Jesus' Way of the Cross. As He must have prayed the Psalms on His way to Calvary and as He hung on the cross, so those who pray the the Stations of the Cross are invited to pray those Psalms as well. The statues pictured are a beautiful accompaniment to the Psalms.

Nicely done Stations of the Cross in this new format/approach that will appeal to anyone who loves praying the Psalms. I'd like to see this used at our parish.

I ordered this book to learn more about the Stations. Because I have been unable to attend Friday night Stations at Church I listen to Father Toups on Youtube and use my book to follow along. It made the experience even more meaningful. I also use the Lenten Guide which has been extremely beneficial in my Lenten 2021 journey. Thank you Father Toups.

The quality of the book itself is 5 stars.
We’ve also enjoyed the content. We usually pray it along live on YouTube with my mom on video chat.
It hasn’t been live the last couple of weeks during lent despite being advertised as so.
So we’ve struggled some syncing an old video so we can pray together.
Otherwise, we all have enjoyed praying The Way of the Cross with this book. It has been a good replacement to attending it at our local Parish during the pandemic.
The video with Fr Toups is excellent as well. We just wish it had continued being shown live.

This is a beautiful booklet for Lent or anytime of the year. The pictures are thought provoking and the Psalm's are beautiful. It is an excellent prayer tool.

I like the pictures with each station, they are beautiful and easy for me to see it in real life. The words are so touching and I can place myself there with Jesus.
