¡Alégrate! Una peregrinación de Adviento al corazón de las Escrituras

As usual, Rejoice! did not disappoint! I learned so much about my own heart during these meditations and was so thankful for the peace in the midst of the hustle and bustle before Christmas. Rejoice! helped me keep my eyes on Christ, share in Mary and Joseph's perspectives and draw close to the Lord. I love the title too as I have a figure of a woman Rejoicing with the Scripture verse "Rejoice always!" on my prayer table as a daily reminder. It is a blessing to me during the special seasons of Advent and Lent!

I love these books by Father Toups,. It helps me to slow down and really contemplate this season of advent and really be excited to welcome Jesus more fully. They really bring back the wonder and awe of Christmas.

I loved the book and the supplement book that took me through the Christmas weeks past Christmas day. The meditations were calming and opened my heart. Thank you.

I continue to use the journal throughout the year almost daily as a companion to prayer. For example, I am almost daily going back to the meditation for day one of Advent on topic of 'known' and going deep with it. This has led to focus on Who God is and heart experience of His love for me. I had a very mixed relationship with my earthly father stemming from incidents as a young boy that has impacted my experience of my heavenly Father. This meditation is part of my daily work in forgiving my father and praying through my relationship with my heavenly Father.

My extended family from all over the United States has a Catholic Book club that meets on zoom once a week. We read the daily readings individually and discussed the book as a group weekly. We loved the book, "Rejoice! An Advent Pilgrimage into the Heart of Scripture: Year C, Journal", and the companion videos. Thank you Fr Toups and Ascension Press!!!

This Advent was extra special to me. Each day it allowed me to devote my time to becoming a better person and to keep trying to give my all to God.

I really enjoyed the book. Father Mark Toups provided much insight, guidance, and inspiration for me to get more from this season of Advent. The video fell short of my expectations. I would have liked for the video segments to be all teaching, and not half saying the rosary. Also, would have preferred Fr. Mark to do all of the video episodes since he is the author of the book.

I have led women group discussions on Fr Mark Toups Studies for at least 4 years. We do the Advent and Lenten journeys each year. Everyone that goes through the study share, and we lift each other up. Looking forward to the 2025 Lenten Journey 🙏

I have tried many different Advent studies but this one is my favorite. Thoughtful and relatable reflections daily. It’s easy to read and reflect on.

I have been using Fr. Toup's Advent and Lenten journals for about 4 years. Each time I find something new to let go of, or latch onto...a different way of digging deeper into transformation. Fr. Mark is a voice of compassion and understanding, as well as being a voice of challenge. I cannot thank you enough for allowing so many of us to connect with his insightful direction.

I really enjoyed this study, Father Toups did such a great job of helping me look at my level of trust in God working in my life. It deepened my confidence that we have a God that can be trusted even, (especially) when it is hard to let go of things. I loved how we delved into the enormous amount trust that Mary and Joseph had to have to face their Advent journey. It certainly enriched mine, Thank you!

Followed through the book throughout Advent and found it to be a compelling daily meditation. The readings, the spritual exercises and the opportunity to journal provided a structured journey and enhanced my involvement in preparation for Christmas.

The book is great, I love Fr. Toups drawing you into the narrative. It definitely brought me closer.

It was a wonderful way to daily prayer through Advent

This book was an excellent preparation for Christmas. My husband and I looked forward to each days meditation and prayer prompts. We did these on our own but listened to the weekly videos together. A great way to prepare our hearts for the Lord to come into our hearts at the Christmas season!

Fr. Toups is such a blessing to listen to. The videos and the journal helped me in my lenten journey, growing spiritually. Thank you!

My husband and I loved and enjoyed this book so much! We read each day together and it helped us to learn more of each other and to come even closer in our relationship and marriage. It also helped us to prepared better to celebrate Christmas fully and joyfully no matter the circumstances of our lives and the world. We recommend this book for everyone!

Our Parish uses both the Advent and the Lent series written by Fr. Troup. A small group 15 - 25 parishioners gather weekly to review and discuss our personal journey to date, which of the days/readings were most impactful, and where God is taking us. Then we watch Fr. Troup's video and discuss that as well. It is truly blessing us and drawing our parish family closer together as we take the time to journey together discussing our common faith!

My Adventure journey was more blessed and guided by Rejoice.

Since Fr Mark started writing the Rejoice advent reflections, my advent experience has changed for the better! I am able to enter into the experience of Advent thanks to the help of Fr Mark. This year was extra special… the reflections touched my heart in precise points of my journey with the Father in trusting and love.

It was the best advent experience ever! Was so sad that it ended!

Please make the series available in Spanish, my mom would love them !

Purchase box 20 books for our men in mission weekly bible group so as to dive deeper into this Advent season, response and participation has been outstanding breaking into small groups and reflecting on what each individual key takeaways and answering questions within group gives everyone different perspectives and new insights.
Video and praying decade of Rosary great way to kick start the day!

Any chance this book "Rejoice! An Advent Pilgrimage into the Heart of Scripture: Year C, Journal" will be made available by e-book? It would be a nice way to get the book quickly and have it an even more portable format.

One of the small groups in my parish opted to use the Rejoice! book for Advent, and decided to start a week early. They reported that the first session (with video) was excellent, and asked for 5 additional books because they enjoyed it so much they were inviting friends to join them!
