Ora, decide y no te preocupes

I am an almost 30-something, single Catholic woman who gets a lot of anxiety around discernment. I way over think it! This book has helped calmed me down so much and put into perspective what I need to do and when in my discernment journey. If you are anything like me, Jackie and Bobby's testimonies will lighten your heart and give you clarity on all the if's, when's, and how's, of discernment. I will be recommending this to a seminarian friend!

I could read it over and over because it was a perfect comforting guide to hard decisions that come up in our lives.

This is a very good book, but it is for young people just starting out in life. So for me it was a waste of $20 I read the first 3 chapters & decided to give it to parish priests who can pass it along.

No discernment necessary on whether or not to purchase this book! It has been wonderful to see my daughter use these teachings as she transitions from college graduate to working professional. Thank you Fr. Mike, Jackie, and Bobby for gifting us with this knowledge!

Upon going through an estrangement with my daughter I was hoing this book would help. It did. It was quite helpful as ccx was the reflections at the end of the chapters. Thank you for CV a bit of relief and some hope.

I have been struggling with huge life choices recently and I kept praying for answers. This book helped me organize my thoughts and understanding my feelings. I love the real life story examples and the reflections at the end of each chapter. I feel like this would be a great gift for a high school student or recent graduate as they prepare for their future.

I have been an over-discerner for as long as I can remember, and that has led me to miss many opportunities that God had presented me with. After reading this book and practicing the steps that Fr. Mike, Jackie & Bobby articulately and beautifully laid out, I've been able to notice when God is moving me to act and when he is moving me to wait patiently. But the most important lesson I learned from this book was that God works through and in our lives by having us decide, while he redirects us as needed. Discernment is a lifelong process and this book is a great guide for it.

This book was purchased for me because I am finishing my career in 5 years and wanted some direction. Father Mike has been one of my favorite speakers and I YouTube him alot. This reading had many good points that I can apply to my daily life and I will make index cards to keep reminding me of the 5 steps.
After reading this, I decided to give it to my 17 year old granddaughter. She is beginning her life and will be making alot of important decisions in the next few years. (well, many decisions in alot of her next years!) This is excellent for the younger generation.

I enjoyed reading this book and the different perspectives in each chapter. It is very down to earth. I bought this for my daughter-in-law who is just graduating college and having to make some tough decisions. So I hope she reads it and finds it helpful. I know I did.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I read it threw but would like to go back and reread it and take some of the ideas about discerning God's will in my everyday life. Thank you

A book that can really hit home and help almost anyone. Helps you really to see things clearly and if you put into practice what the books suggests you will have results. I also write emails to the parishioners of our church and I have quoted this book many times.
My college daughter also connected with this book and that should say a lot.!
By the way, most things out of Ascension are great!!! Keep it up. I will buy any book that comes out of this organization.

This book appeared right about the same time when I have quit my career and was in the middle of discernment, realizing that for as long as I have lived, no one actually taught me or helped me to go through a process called discernment - how to make meaningful decisions in your life about meaningful events, like marriage, work, career, education, etc. Bobby, Jackie and Fr, Mike have done an excellent job by providing a short and insightful tool in the form of this book to help you navigate this process. God's peace and blessings to all readers.

Pray, Decide, and Don't Worry is an incredible resource for those faced with difficult decisions in their lives. The advice offered is practical and accessible, and sorely needed at a time when many face a mountain of uncertainties. This is the type of book you will want to return to again and again as different dilemmas appear in your life.

I purchased this book while unsure of what path to take while making a big life decision. I found peace and comfort in what I read as well as guidance that greatly impacted me. This book and its questions greatly helped me in understanding myself more and trusting God's plans for my life. I plan on using this book for a group book study for other young adults at church. This book was simply amazing.

This book is amazing and so helpful! I'm a junior in college and facing a lot of huge decisions within the next year of my life, so reading this was such a helpful way to relax and incorporate prayer into the unknown of my life!

This book has been helping me pray for the fear I hold inside myself and learning that I need to trust. I have trust issues!!!! But I heavily prayed on that last night, and cried a lot.
