The Pocket Guide to the Mass I found was so helpful in helping me to enter fully into the Mass, to bring the familiar ritual of the Mass to the next level when after many years it has become somewhat routine and familiar. This guide provides an understanding and clarity. I am able to participate in each of the four main parts of the Mass as an act of worship and devotion that has drawn me closer to God, and to respond and pray with intention at every Mass based upon understanding that has enriched my prayers greatly.

Ordered it as I find myself sometimes distracted during Mass
Also getting back more active in my Catholicism the last year, I forgot by memory some of the prayers like Act of Contrition and Apostles Creed.
Have not used it as yet but am confident it will be very useful

I love our Mass and this book made you love it more. To recognize we are in the actual presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist is so awesome. This book explains the Mass so everyone can understand not just what is happening but why. Recommend highly along with the Guide to Reconciliation. I use that book before every Confession.

Highly recommend. I’ve joined a new Parish, which is much larger than my former, and Mass is much more formal. It’s beautiful but admittedly, I was a little lost at first on a few things. This book has already helped me with the form of Mass but has, more importantly, helped me further understand the purposes behind each part of Mass. I love it.

I bought this originally to get the wording down for mass and I am not disappointed. It's very informational and great for understanding the mass as a whole. Definitely a great book to start with or even if your seasoned. Love it and thank you Ascension for all that you guys do.
