Description

Megan Madden

Megan Madden is a homeschooling mother with a passion for writing and speaking on authentic femininity and virtuous womanhood. In 2017, she began graduate studies in marriage and family at the International Theological Institute in Austria. After moving to Kraków, Poland to work with university students, Megan more personally continued her research on the complementarity of man and woman, particularly on the question of what it means to be a woman. She delved into the study of renowned Catholic writers on women such as St. Edith Stein, Gertrude von le Fort, Alice von Hildebrand, St. John Paul II, and St. Teresa of Avila.

The results were the development of Megan’s online ministry A Mother’s Lace, as well as speaking opportunities and her book with Ascension: Mary, Teach Me to Be Your Daughter.

Megan lives outside of Oxford, England with her husband, who is a lecturer in theology, and their six children.

Captivating!

This book revealed so much about the Blessed Mother in a way that is really challenging me to act on her virtues. I was so captivated by this book, that I purchased more copies and gave them to my daughter and her roommates who are in college and I want them to understand the beauty of not only the Blessed Mother, but how they as woman can strive to imitate her virtues. This is a book I will reference often.

Want to share this one!

I could not put this book down and now want to get it for my daughters and friends. I’ve done BIAY and finishing CIY and have never really had a book on Mary. I love how this was written! I feel I can pray differently to her besides the Hail Mary.
The book is “Sold Out”. Please let me know when it is available again. I want to share it!!

Mama Mary Speaks

I finally finished this book. I'm sorry it's over! I will have to start it over again!! I love how throughout the text that there are moments where Mary is "speaking" to you. I've never experienced something like that before. It surprised me to find the Parable at the end. It is beautiful! It reminds me of the Song of Songs in a way. The care the "gatekeeper" has, the maiden who helps the girl, and the girl who you can place yourself in her place; what a story! It feels so real, and I pray it will be like that when I have the opportunity to be with the Lord forever. I highly recommend this book, and I suggest it be used as spiritual reading with the Lord in Adoration, where I am now. The fruit, grace, mercy, hope, and so many virtures are seen throughout. The Lord permitting, I hope to use, or at least share, the parable when I finally make my decision regarding my Vocation. God bless you. May the journey to be Mama's daughter more fully be a blessed one.

A MUST Read ~ coming from a Non-Reader

Ladies… I’m not a reader. I have good intentions when I buy books, but rarely finish them. This was not that book! This book unlocked so many emotions, thoughts, feelings and questions! I am also doing the 33 Days to Morning Glory, which my husband and I would read together in the morning, and I’d read this Marian book in the evening ~ it beautifully aligned! Please get yourself a copy and allow yourself time to read it ~ I have no doubt it will impact your heart in profound ways too! Thank you Megan for this beautiful work! Us women need this more than ever before! The enemy is out to destroy our womanhood, our families, our spirituality ~ Let Mary guide you to her Son!
