I bought this recently and it would also make a great gift. I have it at my desk at work as little reminder to read a scripture and a prayer every day. Highly recommend.
It is a very good size for the kitchen counter praying reminder. I write a note on a corner of the day that I want to remember every year. Like my mom's birthday, our anniversary, my grandkids' birthdays. So I can include a prayer for them.
I love this daily prayer book. We refer to it every day. I would love to give it to a number of my friends and have been waiting / hoping for it to be available again. I bet I'm not alone!!
Hope this helps and thank you!
I use his daily Psalm calendar every day, and keep it on my dining table to read the next day’s Psalm while I eat breakfast. So I’m feeding my body and my soul at the same time. :) For me I generally like the shorter Psalms because they are easier for me to remember and say throughout the day. But if one is too long, then I’ll just find the shorter part that hits home with me, I’ll write it down on a sticky note to put it on my microwave where I would see it in passing throughout the day, to remind myself about it every time. Even some of the prayers at the bottom of each page really touch my heart, and I’ll say “Jesus, that is my prayer too for today(and every day)!” I had also bought one for my teen Godchild(via Confirmation) that I will give as a Christmas gift to him. He will like it too!
Thanks for this product!
I have it on my kitchen counter and read each day with my tea. Good way to start the day. Just wished the booklet was a little heavier paper to with stand daily use.
The Psalms are an easy way of at least giving some early-in-the-day thought to God.
Some psalms are wonderful, and other psalms are actually annoying, but all get you thinking about God.
King David wrote many of them. He was a leader who was obviously flawed, and if God forgave him his transgressions, then I have the hope He can forgive mine. I think about this daily. Reading these early in the day gets me focused.
What a wonderful way to start the day! I will use the Daily Psalms for years to come.
It's the first thing I look to in the morning and I review it several times during the day.
I have mixed feelings about this calendar.
For the price I was expecting more.
The pages are not that thick and are very blah as in dull color the writing at least for my poor eyesight is hard to see as the color is so dull.
No pictures to go with a psalm of the day not even a simply fluffy feather picture.
The months are all wonky as in double sided pages and it took me 2 mins to find the correct month/date
What I do like it's reusable the binder ring in metal and not sharp nor poky and once bent it stands up thus far without flopping over
I am thinking about giving this away and finding another reusable faith desk calendar for any one reason it would be I can not read it!
I am half blind so if you have 100% vision even in low light then this product is for you.
Great idea just poor format and overprice I feel personal
